I followed but in the last step the installer shows error box said "an NVIDIA gpu is required." reffering to the system requirements.Steevee said:First, update your Chipset.
Second, update your Intel VGA Driver
and the Last goto https://www.geforce.com/drivers and download the driver or by using https://us.download.nvidia.com/GFE/GFEClient/3.20.2.34/GeForce_Experience_v3.20.2.34.exe
How exactly can I do that on this particular model? searched the web for guide, found nothing. Next I tried unscrewing the flipside and take-off the back cover, but it seemed like it could be damaged so I screwed it back in place.egydiocoelho said:Have you tried to reset the battery?
Lastly I tried what you have suggested. But again the installer you mentioned displays error stating "This NVIDIA graphics driver is not compatible with this version of windows. This graphics driver could not find compatible graphics hardware."andylb said:Do not use GeForce to update your drivers, it has caused a lot of problems for some
First download and install DDU then reboot into safe mode and run DDU for a clean uninstall of everything Nvidia
https://www.guru3d.com/files-details/display-driver-uninstaller-download.html
Reboot into normal mode and download the latest Nvidia Game Ready drivers from here, do not install Geforce experience
https://www.nvidia.com/Download/index.aspx?lang=en-us#
Then reboot and report back
This very hole I believe has a warranty seal on it which states "warranty void if seal is broken". The device is under warranty period. Please confirm if I should still try resetting the battery.andylb said:Unplug and turn off the laptop and place a straightened paperclip in the pinhole on the underside, press for 15 seconds, leave alone for 15 minutes, plug in and turn on
Did that, still nothing... and why does any option for GPU not show up in the BIOS menu? and also Intel Graphics - windows 10 DCH drivers is recognised as an update on Intel Driver and Support assistant site but on installation error appears stating it is not validated for my system... any idea?andylb said:My mistake the pinhole method was cancelled for your model, instead unplug then press and hold the Power button for 15 seconds, leave alone for 15 minutes, plug in and power up
Pretty sure it was notebook version. I'll double check.GAMING6698 said:@tryambakam are you sure you install correct nvidia software from site.because there is two GeForce 10 series one for notebook and one for may be desktop.you need to install notebook one.check image
