I run a Facebook group with about 4,000 Helios owners and we all tried this for a long time..
    The result is this:

Dual screen only available from usb display hub via usb 3.0 or one through usb and one through hdmi.

For some reason setting a display through c port worked but caused hdmi to not work.
There was a single display hub we found to work among the 10 or so we tried.

The usb hub worked fine except in gaming where latency is critical (example: csgo) it was an issue.
    Thanks a lot!
So, what should I use? I got some type-c hub with HDMI output, but it does not work.
Should I get USB 3.0 to HDMI adapter?
    Any additional software to download?
What adapter would you suggest to resolve this problem and to connect 2 monitors?
P.S. please share the link to the discussion in your FB group!

doesn't a display hub require a displayport on the laptop?

Display hub is like an external piece of hardware that houses an hdmi port etc.

i see. then why would it work if you connect it to the usb ports on the helios 300? i thought the usb ports on this laptop only transmit data? (per acer: https://us.answers.acer.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/51533/~/usb-c-port-does-not-support-video-output-on-predator-helios-300-models-(g3-571,).

sorry for double posting, but for some reason i cant edit my comment.
so, in principle, can i simply use something like this:
    https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07B14627P/ref=psdc_3015403011_t3_B00H91BQ7Y?th=1
with the usb c port on the helios?
    or this:
    https://www.amazon.com/dp/B078HBQBPT/ref=psdc_3015403011_t3_B00H91BQ7Y?th=1
    with the usb 3.0 port?

    thank you in advance.

The first one may not work since the usb 3.1 on predator 15 does not support display out.
The second could work since it comes with its own set of drivers for driving display - personally i never tried this out though to confirm.

Hello everyone! I too have been trying to find a way to connect a second monitor to my Helios 300. I have just ordered a USB 3.0 to hdmi converter that @galz had mentioned above and I will keep you guys in check.

ANYWAYS, I might have found ANOTHER solution. Miracasts. Windows 10 offers wireless display connections, however, only certain laptops can actually use that feature. And it turns out that the Helios 300 is capable of using that feature. There are wireless display receivers (a.k.a Miracasts) on amazon that you can purchase for $40. So all you have to do is plug that receiver into your 2nd monitor and connect the receiver to your laptop by going to your display settings and scroll down to the bottom where it says "Connect to a wireless display". I also purchased that along with the Usb to hdmi dongle so I will make sure to notify you guys of whether both works or not soon. I hope this helped! I linked the products below:
    Wireless Display Receiver

USB 3.0 to HDMI dongle (Thanks to @galz)

BlaxBluw if your laptop model only has usb-c 3.1 gen1  it wont support display output through usb-c (unless its states specifically that it supports only latest models do and you would have the DP icon next to the usb-c port) only thunderbolt ports and usb-c with DP support will work

Here is just an ex of the icon you should have when the usb-c port supports DP

Confirm it is possible to connect two external monitors on GTX 1050Ti, one through HDMI - HDMI and other through HDMI - USB 3.0 adapter (not USB Type-C). If you have troubles installing drivers from a generic USB 3.0 adapter, try this https://www.hamkot.net/product/usb-3-to-hdmi-display-adapter/#tab-id-4

Can you let me know the hub that worked from the ten you tried.

I am planning to buy this Monitor for hardcore Gaming and Live Streaming and use it as an extended Monitor:

Acer 27-inch (68.58 cm) Full HD TN Panel Gaming Monitor with 1920 x 1080 Resolution - KG271 Cbmidpx (Black)

Will this work fine with Mini Display Port to Display Port Converter Cable?

Will I be able to get 144Hz through that as the Monitor supports 144Hz? If not please suggest me a way to use 144Hz Output Display from my Laptop.

    Thanks in advance.
