    "The application is not compatible with Intel(R) Wireless Display or the application is in use. Please see the log for more details."

    I've uninstalled everything that has to do with wifi that I can find in Programs snd Features, and I have uninstalled everything in Decice Manager that has to do with WiFi. The driver just won't install.

    The only thing that says Intel still is:
    -Intel(R) Turbo Boost Technology Monitor 2.0
    -intel(R) Management Engine Components
    -intel(R) rapid storage technology

    and run  the Hardware vendor utility to see what it says your wifi card is.

    Yes, sorry I forgot to meant to mention that. I did check that earlier and it is the Intel advanced-N 6205.

    VGA: ATI/AMD
    VGA_2: Intel
    Wireless LAN: Intel

    Trying the Intel WiDi update now.
