@GAMING6698 @JackE @Puraw My Laptop is started to get heat more and Iam using my laptop nearly an year do you suggest me to clean the laptop, I mean i clean the outer layer but i dont know if I can open the back side and clean it. Is this usual for Laptops for cleaning inside or is there anyway for example: applying thermal paste, cleaning fans like that.

When does it change sometimes — or when did it change sometimes? Now? A month ago? Two months ago? The day you turned the machine on for the first time? In other words, did it ever really change or you don't remember?

@JackE I Bought this laptop on march 2024 and i tried change the backlight and it did smoothly but i thinks a few months after it started to make problems when i tried to change the backlight of the keyboards it didn't even let me change it I tried restart and reset the modifications but it didn't solve the issue then only i came to know that there is an Acer Community to get advise for the issues like this and still now the option is changeable but the option only apply after we shut the system and rebooted it

High Temperature Nitro 517-51
Hello everyone,
I play only Csgo on my Nitro 517-51 (i7-9750, GTX 1660 Ti 6Gb, 32 Gb Ram) and I want to max my fps by playing on "High Performance" battery settings.
The laptops temperature reaches max 94C and it stays between 85C.
Is it too much?
I already replaced the thermal paste but Iam worried if this temp is still too high.
Do you have any ideas how could I drop temp?
What is the normal temperature Nitors should have while gaming?

@GAMING6698 HEY BRO, Upon checking with chatgpt the Maximum and high load lead the laptop to reach 70%-80%C and for gaming only 60-70%C but mine reached 90%C which the chat gpt mentioned that this is dangerous and to stop work further in this temperature that's why i came here to get advise to act accordingly (Mine rtx 4070 I9 13th gen Acer predator Laptop)

Don't know about that Ai but while gaming temperatures should be below 90°C. At 90°C thermal throttling starts and Preformance decreases. Follow my comment in the post I shshared with you above .

This often happens due to 3rd party programs or apps that you may have downloaded, run & load into RAM. It's hard for me to determine which program you are loading that may be interfering with Acer app to change colors. But the usual solution is, as you have already discovered, is to simply reboot and clear the RAM. Thus this is most likely a 3rd party software issue, not an Acer hardware or software issue.
