PH317-53-719J, the application of Predator Sense and Wavemaxx audio are missing after formatting!

Guys, I have just replaced a new SSD for my laptop. My laptop was formatted, I found that the Predator sense and Wavemaxx audio application are missing. I have tried to download the software from acer website. But after the installation, the dialog box shows up my device is not supported. Please help. I need to use the apps urgently.

Hi,

Could you please provide the full laptop model name, like AN5xx-xx, also read these answers and see whether it helps for Wavemaxx installation. as for the Predator sense installation post the model name of your laptop.

Hi there, the model number of my laptop is PH317-53-719J. Both of the application i need to install back which is Predatorsense and Wavemaxx. Thanks for the help guys

The Predator Sense Acer software is on the Support page of the PH317-54 laptop, download it from here at Predator Sense 3.00.3136, please note that PS is a problematic software that on some Predator laptops and desktops it does not install and/or it installs but it doesn't work, please consult Acer Tech Support in your country for a solution as Acer community hasn't got a one-step solution for the PS installation errors that users are encountering as we are not associated with Acer directly and any PS software error fixes all come from Acer.

With the 3rd party Wavemaxx audio have a look here at MS for a solution Waves MaxxAudio® missing after installing Windows 10 x64. Good luck.

I have downloaded the driver from Acer community but the problem is still Persist guys, Please helpp. By the way I am using Window 11, is that the problem of the window was not compatible?

I cant even use Predatorsense to control my laptop fanspeed now..very upset..

Hi,

Give this a try, it may or may not work but worth a try because it worked in other models in the past.

Download PS from Acer support site and extract the .zip folder.

Open the extracted folder, open Predator Sense UWP folder, right click "APPXBUNDLE File" and select Install.

Then open the extracted folder and try using Setup to install and see whether it helps.

Still the same….cannot be installed…very upset about this…is that possible the Predetorsense of my laptop model is not supported Window 11 already?

Hi,

You could try the solution given by our friend @Commodore_1995# in this thread, actually what you need to do is to go to BIOS screen and note how it's showing your model name, write it down, then open the Plugs folder, right click PH317-53 and select Rename, then rename the PH317-53 as shown in BIOS, anyway, please read all the posts and you'll understand.

Yeah! I tried to change the folder name which exactly the same with my BIOS product name! It did worked! Much appreciated mate! Besides, I still got another one app to go which is the Maxxwaves app. The app I downloaded from Acer driver was just not functioning normally. Eventhough I have updated the latest audio driver. Please refer to the below attachment. Please help guys. Thank you.

You could try updating NVIDIA drivers, visit Windows Update and see whether there are any optional driver updates for NVIDIA card in your model.

There are other alternatives to Waves Maxx Audio, like Fx Sounds, I normally use it in my other laptops, it's a free App and you could try if you like it, I have no connection with the developer of the App, this laptop came with SoundWire Audio supported by Microsoft but couldn't find the download page of the App.

I tried to update every audio drivers to the latest version. But still cannot open the Maxxwave app from my computer. It keeps loading when I clicked, but never opened the app. Please help. Thank you.
