Hello, I have an acer nitro AN515-54, basically a gaming laptop. I know for that is the usual, that when the battery is charged and im using the laptop, i should unplug the charger. There wouldnt be a problem with that if it wasn't because every game I play when the laptop is unplugged runs at 30 fps, which is not bad, but its annoying when Im playing at 60 fps, unplug and go back to 30 fps.
I would like to know a solution if possible, I've tried with Nvidia, game perfomance, Nitrosense, energy administration and none have worked. Thank you for the help.

12 GB Ram
Nvidia Geforce GTX 1650 4 GB

Gaming laptop design to play games while plugging in because modern gaming GPU/CPU required more power. Always play your Games while plugged in
If somehow you play games on battery with max performance then battery will die in 10mins. Every time you unplug it, it will bottleneck the performance. Happens with everyone.
Keeping your laptop plugged in all time to time to use the gaming laptop will not cause any damage as the adapter stops powering the battery!.
once they register 100% full, the batteries are cut off from the circuit, and the computer only sporadically monitors their charging.
(This only apply for Modern gaming laptops)

If only 30 FPS then sounds like Nvidia game battery saver of switched on in gforce experience app settings.0

Only if enabled, turn it off if you want to increase frames.0

@Mrmigs08
If you turn off then also you will not able achieve max performance because CPU/GPU will only unlock when plugged inwindows 10/11 optimization guide for gaming

This is wrong, gpu will only unlock if disabled, this is how it is on my rtx in nitro, it can't use full performance if it's told to limit it,
In battery mode this is used to save power only, in performance mode it doesn't matter when plugged in.
If you want more frames on battery then disable it, but your battery will die much faster as it uses more of the available GPU tgp.0 -
@Mrmigs08
Btw, i want to say that GPU/CPU will only unlock their full potential when plugged in (Turbo Boost +Boost clock)windows 10/11 optimization guide for gaming
