My Acer reaches temps unreasonable for gaming...I have undervolted it and it helped a little (No longer reaches 100 degrees C). Sometimes while playing, the game would just lag (Not internet lag), and is even worst when not charging. Same thing happens when I'm watching YouTube at full screen and then I suddenly move the mouse. I'm thinking something might be wrong with the cooling system, particularly the thermal paste. I might replace it with an Arctic mx-4 if I find the paste inside dried-up. I've checked with Intel XTU and there's something that says "power limit throttling". Also, is it a good idea to put a .3mm copper piece on the CPU and GPU?
