Can I make a SSHD disk to my A315-53G-55LJ?

Hi, good day.

I know I have 1TB HDD disk. I wanted to add a SSD 256GB disk to my laptop to make a hybrid disk. Just not sure if I can't do it in my laptop.
Also want to get some help about what else I need to know, (i.e: for my RAM, I needed to know if this Laptop motherboard affords 20GB, MHZ, etc.)

Also sorry if this question was asked before (surely yes) but I used advanced search and still got not results. Any help about my question will be useful.

Hi,
Yes, you can install a 256GB M.2 NVMe SSD in your laptop and use as a boot drive, you can keep 1TB for storage, download and install Macrium  reflect, use cloning feature to clone your HDD to the new M.2 SSD, as for the memory upgrade, you can upgrade up to 20GB(4GB onboard+16GB) but avoid any modules with XMP profile or automatic overclocking mentioned in their specs, please read these links for additional information.

You can add a regular m.2 SSD card but it won't act like an m.2 optane HDD memory cache card. The best disk speed option is to boot the Windows system from the 256GB SSD card as the C ; \ drive and use the HDD as the D :  \ drive.   You can add up to a 16GB DDR4 module for a maximum of 20GB RAM with the existing 4GB soldered mainboard RAM. You can use software to achive the cacheing drive, but i wouldnt recomend it and instead like the other said just use it as an SSD. Things like Storemi for AMD and fuzedrive do it, but its so meh its why Intel gave up on optane! I think its a tech which can be great for servers but is a bit shoe horned for home users. 90% of the time it would be better just to get a larger flash drive than do a mix
