Recently I started playing Rocket League again (steam version) and my laptop, only when I'm playing this game, just blue screens. I installed BlueScreenViewer and I saw that "ntoskrnl.exe" and "PSHED.dll" were causing the problem. I tried everything online, I re-installed my Windows, updated my graphics card and CPU drivers, I downloaded PSHED.dll again and pasted into System32 again and nothing. I have the Acer Helios 300 (ph315-52 - RTX 2060 and i7-9750h).

Hi, I have the same model (only different CPU, i5 9300H) and I also encountering BSOD only when playing games. Did you already solved the issue?

Did you identify the cause of the BSOD?

    Thanks a lot!

    Hi sitaw,

Restart PC, Unplug and Replug Memory and Graphics Card. When your computer firstly turned into a blue screen with an error message while playing or launching games, try these quick fixes: ... Then reboot PC and re-launch the game to see if the problem still lingers.

Hi! I tried to reinstall Windows hoping it will remove the culprit of the BSOD. Still encountering it on freshly installed Windows.

I will try to provide a latest copy of the dump file. But for the mean time, what I can provide is the dump file from July 24, 2021. Not the latest but same error code to what I'm seeing every time it BSOD until now.

    Thanks!

Hello! I cannot send the unit to an Acer Service Center right now as Im using it for work. Also we are currently on lockdown because of covid. I already contacted Acer support tho, and they said it would take 15 working days only to diagnose and another multiple days (up to months) to repair and wait for parts (if ever there is a need to replace some parts).

Thanks for the help, anyway. :)

I just want to post an update regarding the BSOD issue I encountered on my Predator Helios 300 (PH315-52 -- RTX2060 variant).

I've been using my laptop 4 days straight without encountering BSOD even when playing games (GTA V, NBA2k21, etc.).

In case anyone is also having issue when using GPU-intensive application, what I did to fix the issue is to install Intel Chipset Driver, Intel RST Driver, NVIDIA VGA Driver, and Intel VGA Driver all from the Acer Support website.

Step 1: Disable driver update from "Windows Update"

Step 2: Disable auto update in Microsoft Store

Step 3: Download drivers from Acer Product Support website
        - Intel Chipset Driver
        - Intel RST Driver
        - NVIDIA VGA Driver
        - Intel VGA Driver

Step 4: Uninstall all the driver listed above

    Step 4: Download DDU

Step 5: Boot in Safe Mode

Step 6: Open DDU Option and enable "Prevent downloads of drivers..."

Step 7: Uninstall Intel Display Driver, boot Windows to normal, install Intel VGA Driver
Step 7.1: Repeat step 5 to 7, install NVIDIA VGA Driver

Step 8: Normal boot Windows, then Install Intel Chipset Driver. Restart Windows.

Step 9: Install Intel RST Driver, restart Windows

Step 10: Install NVIDIA Control Panel, and Intel Graphics Command Center from Microsoft Store (optional)

Hopefully this would help other Acer Predator owner.

    Regards

    Hi Sitaw

Thanks for sharing your experience and fix since I seem to be having the same problem. However can you also elaborate on what specific drivers you uninstalled? Especially the chipset drivers since there's no one "chipset driver" and the installer from the acer site doesn't seem to uninstall anything. Furthermore how did you uninstall the RST driver? Uninstalling without deleting the driver software seems to just revert it to the supposedly uninstalled version but deleting the driver software seems to just brick the SSD leading to a failure to boot. I would greatly appreciate any clarification.

    Cheers!

Blue screen crashes indicate a critical system error has occurred. These will only happen on Windows systems, and sometimes indicate a corrupted operating system or failing hardware. Update your drivers and operating system to resolve any compatibility errors.

Hey mha men, All kinds of BSOD after you updates 22h1 or 22h2 of win10 or win11 JUST RE-INSERT YOUR RAM OR BATTERY OR BOTH that's all. :)
