So, the title is pretty self explanatory, and I guess I'm not the first person to ask about advice.
My Laptop (Acer Predator Helios 300 PH315-51) is overheating, the CPU sometimes caps out at a crazy 97 degrees celsius, the GPU seems fine as it's doesn't often go above 80c. I've tried undevolting with the intel xtu, anywhere from -0.030v to -0.150v, it doesn't really help.
I've also tried disabling background apps while gaming, disabling/uninstalling the entire array of xbox applications, deleting some bloatware, using both high performance and balanced power settings and setting my fan speed to max. I also installed the latest bios and have all of my drivers up to date.

Solutions I want to try and haven't tried yet: reapplying thermal paste to gpu/cpu.

So the specs on this model are
CPU: Intel I5 - 8300H
GPU: Nvidia 1060 6gb vram
SSD 128gb samsung ssd (not sure about the exact model)
HDD: 1TB
RAM: 8gb
