Do you mean, install drivers manually without internet connection?

    Now, I'm at region selection..
Even here also, the mouse movement lags.

That's strange. In my G3-572, even without touchpad driver, touchpad was smooth even during the setup without the proper driver.

Did you install all those drivers in support page? For touchpad driver to install properly, Serial I/O drivers need to be installed first.

Those I/O drivers are only files.. not a setup application. I don't know what to choose in Device manager to update the driver.

One more thing to note, if i don't use the touch pad for around 2 mins, it will work normally again for another 2 or 3 minutes..

Don't know if it will work for you, but still, run this command in Command Prompt as administrator: DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth . Stay online while executing this command. If it doesn't solve, then uninstall the touchpad driver from Device manager checking the box for deleting the driver packages and reboot. Then, run the command again and then install your touchpad driver from Acer Site. Keep a wired/wireless mouse handy if touchpad doesn't work during the process.

@Red-Sand, since you have a newer system, how to install the Serial I/O drivers? Does the OP need to install them by running the install.cmd file?

Please somebody help me to get out of this issue. Slowness has became more regular now. Mouse pointer starts to move 1/2 sec late after i move my finger on touch pad.

    Hi @sdzshn3
Go to Device manager, expand System devices, right click Intel Serial IO I2C Host controller, go to Driver tab in Properties and post the snip or the driver version.

    Hi,
Go to Acer Support site(the link below), download Serial driver version 30.100.1915.1, extract the zip file to the Desktop or any convenient place you like, then go to Device manager, right click the Intel Serial IO I2C, click Update driver, then select browse my computer for driver software, then direct where you saved the extracted folder.

Have you tried switching to different sensitivity in Settings or adjust the speed of the Cursor?
