    @sri369
    or is this the overclock profile?
    If you want to reduce temps, you NEVER overclock! What you did is undervolting GPU.

    Glad you got it working :-)
    Also. test it for a short while and if it works as expected, make sure to mark my post with graphs as answer so people may know that this issue is taken care off. Would also anyone looking for same issue in the future.

    @sri369 the temps seem to have gone down a bit if i wanted to undervolt a bit more to see if it would help what would be the right way to go for my graphics card

    I would suggest against that! Going under 975 for 1060 on windows 10 will end up disastrously with random hangups.

    CaptainTwinkie that shouldnt happen probably you have some driver issue try to remove the drivers completely and reinstall them as far as i know the only way to undervolt your gtx its with msi AB theres no other way also on your nvcp setup the gtx to use the physix and manually setup the msy AB to use the gtx only see if it fixes it

    also check this thread you might have issues with the visual c redist

    https://linustechtips.com/main/topic/1063784-msi-afterburner-lost-connection-to-gpu-1/
     i tried everything iv been trying to get better temps i have cpu -0.125v for core and cache and then for intel gpu its set to -0.80v i tried using ddu and fully uninstalling nvidia graphics with msi uninstalled and everything i reinstalled using different graphics and msi versions but no luck on gta 5 downvolted by -0.125v still hitting 92 degrees Celsius i dont know what to do anymore
    CaptainTwinkie your only viable solution here its probably repaste it (with kryonaut or similar) if undervolting isnt working means you won the silicone lottery :p
    i used throttlestop first and then intel xtu then fully uninstalled intel xtu and reinstalled throttlestop when the msi afterburner was working i had below 80 degree temps with cpu and gpu undervolted now i dont know what went wrong i guess i just deal with the temps i have tried everything and the msi afterburner started showing usage when im using an app does that spring any ideas?

    My best advice now its to backup whatever you need and perform a Acer stock factory reset fresh install not keeping your files ALT+F10 on boot because seems to me you might have a software conflicting issue and the best way to rule that out its to fresh install the OS
