Initially during setting up windows, updates etc i noticed the fans to be always running at 4k RPM, which is surprising as the usage was near -idle scenarios and i was skeptical about the purchase. Installed Steam>Dota2 and ran the game, CPU temps were touching 82-87°C (FPS was high and smooth, but heavy fan noise and temps). Dota2 is not a ultra heavy demanding game. Experimented here and there a bit and reduced maximum processor state in Power Options> Advanced Settings from 100% to 99%, somehow this disables Intel TurboBoost™. Now in idle conditions, the fans are silent and idle temps is 40-45°C and in dota2 (max settings, played for 2 hours straight) the temps are not crossing 65°C (fan speed 4k rpm). Maybe you can try the same.
