Unplug the power and disconnect external devices. Remove the battery if the battery is removable. For laptops with an internal battery, use the pin hole reset. If the reset works, then there may be an issue with the power button. After the power drain, reattach power cables, and power on the computer. Regards. James

Clean the laptop fan. If your “system cooling policy” has been changed to passive and you have not run large software, and the laptop fan constantly running all the time, you may need to clean the laptop fan because the fan and heat sink are dusty, and its heat dissipation performance is reduced.

BIOS updates can also add support for other hardware upgrades, like RAM. Basically, if a newer component, whatever it might be, fits and can be installed on your computer but doesn't work properly, there's a very real chance (depending on the motherboard maker, of course) that there's a BIOS update that can fix it.

Dust and debris are the likeliest cause of the problem. If your idle GPU temperature is too high, the first thing you have to do is clean your system from dust that might have accumulated over the months/years. Don't just clean the GPU fans; instead, buy a can of compressed air and clean out your entire system.

If you put a voltmeter on them, they're all 19 volt nominal output +/- a volt or so. With very high gaming loads, the lower power chargers might not be able to keep up with the CPU/GPU + battery charging power demands. So the battery will simply drain quicker and gaming times shorter.
