No its not normal and yes over time it will damage the cpu. Just learn how to undervolt and repaste the cpu. I did both to mine and got the temps down while gaming from 95 to 65 max when running any game at ultra.

Did you try undervolt the cpu? Just an undervolt can bring temps down anything up to 20 degrees
