Thank you for the tip, but I rather send it back, which I already did.

I'm not entirely sure but I think it's brushed plastic. Feels more like plastic to me.

Olá Egydio! Sou a mesma pessoa do problema de tela azul haha. O note voltou do conserto todo riscado. Como eu havia dito num comentário anterior, a Acer já entrou em contato e irei enviar o aparelho de volta. Quero outro computador. Esse já era. Hello Egydio! I'm the same person from the bluescreen problem, haha. My laptop…

I tried my best taking pictures... But unfortunately the scratches are barely visible on them. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ujF7rSQBqtE&feature=youtu.be Here's the video. I had to record it vertically.

That's a picture of before I sent it. At the time I didn't think about taking a close picture of it or record it, but if you zoom in you cannot see any scratches, only finger prints (which is normal). I will record a video to show you the scratches, as they are a little difficult to be spotted on pictures. I'm pretty sure…

I don't think so... The laptop came inside a plastic bubble thingy, inside a cardboard box (with a plastic cover around it), it's impossible for it to scratch the laptop in that way. It really looks like they fixed the laptop on a flat surface, without any protection under it. I already got in touch with acer, let's see…

I know, right? But I'm not talking about the screws here, but about scratches. They were clearly not careful when handling it. My father is a technician and he's always putting a towel or something soft under the things he's fixing, for scratches not to happen. It's so obvious... I'll do something about this. This can't…

Hey guys! My laptop arrived today from maintenance. The laptop is starting just fine. They took around 15 days to fix it. BUT, I have a serious complaint about Acer's technicians. They scratched my laptop a LOT. It's ridiculous! I don't know what happens or what I have to do in this kind of situation, but I'm very…

I saw this on the internet too, but I never did anything like that, I don't even know how to do it, to be honest with you... My bios is very limited. We already figured out the problem. Thanks for helping, though.

Well, I tested my Asus HDD on the Nitro 5 and guess what? Same problem. So now we know, it's most likely a problem with the SATA cable. I'll send the laptop to Acer. I really wish they fix it fast...

I managed to get to the desktop screen on the older laptop with my HDD, but when I put it back on the Acer again, boot loop again. I'll try running this crystaldiskinf on the older laptop.

It loaded the windows repair perfectly fine. The asus laptop is trying to make repairs on it now. Let's pray it'll work haha. Even if it does work, I'll send it to repair.

This is on my older asus laptop, with my nitro 5 HDD

So, a small update. I put the hdd on my older laptop, and it loaded the windows repair. What do I do? Should I continue or should I stop?
-
Mas o que mudaria se eu testasse esse HD no meu outro? Dando certo ou não no outro note, o problema vai persistir nesse Nitro 5, provavelmente :/ Já que você insiste, eu vou tentar fazer isso rsrs

I thought about doing that, but I don't think it's a wise choice to just leave this be... It clearly has a problem. Also, I don't have the money right now to buy a SSD, unfortunately. I was going to do that in the end of the year. As it seems, it does void my warranty if I open and mess around with it. But I don't think it…

I already got in touch with Acer support on Saturday but they didn't give me a return. They said they would send me an email with instructions but I'm still waiting.
-
I did that already :/ EgydioCoelho told me to do so, did not work. It's probably a physical problem. I'm very disappointed... The laptop had many good reviews on the internet before I got it, and right after I had in my hands, only bad reviews started showing up. People with bsod, HDD problems, audio problems, laptop too…

Yep, I know. I tested it because JackyE told me to. I already made sure the HDD is in place.

My model came with only one 8gb of Ram. The windows installation screen only appeared when I removed the HDD. After I returned the HDD back, it boot looped again.
