I've had two acer predators so far and both have died the same death - they fail to boot. They power on, but just don't boot. I'd recommend you spend your money elsewhere.

So it's just a hunk of garbage, like the predator I bought previously. So 100 percent of Acer predators I've purchased have ended up like this. What trash. Never buying another product from this ***** company again.

I don't have another PC. Does this mean I just have a very expensive piece of garbage now?

But I don't have another PC. This is so frustrating. Why doesn't it just work like it should? I paid a lot of money for something to just turn into garbage.

Do you know where I go to get a "recovery USB drive" and is there anything that lists the steps to do this?

Mine doesn't even get that far. All I see is a black screen. Very frustrating, hate the product now.

It won't make a difference, odds are you'll get no actual support.

I'd consider buying if and only if the failure to boot problem is resolved.

Does it have the same problem with failing to boot? Keyboard lights up, but the screen stays black?

I'm still having this same issue from time to time, and it started happening again two days ago. I haven't been able to successfully boot the machine since. It sucks and it makes me hate the product and this company.

Similar issue for me. Keyboard lights up, and the fans turn on but it doesn't boot. Very annoying

I haven't been able to get it to boot at all today. This issue is enough to make me never buy an Acer product again. Really, it is maddening.
