That is not really a solution if someone wants to have fast startup on. It is only avoiding the problem. So how can we actually fix the problem here? Might RAM be an issue? I doubt it though.

You could try to undervolt your cpu or repaste it.

@gthomas1018 Yes he said he used HDMI to HDMI cable.

Thanks for the suggestions but I finally decided to do a factory reset. As I suspected this solved the issue. Not sure why this was a problem, I assume it was something that was disabling airplane mode. This seems kind of overkill to solve a small annoyance but whatever. Thanks!

Yes I've looked at that article beforehand and nothing helped. The physical toggle on the laptop should disable/enable the connectivity regardless since it's hardware. My toggle used to work which is why I am thinking a factory reset might be the solution. The F3 key works, just not the FN + F3

Try holding down your power button to shut off the computer and restart it. I found this solution on a thread and it actually worked which was surprising. I then reinstalled the audio drivers from realteks website.

Yep. Probably need to replace your RAM

You realize fortnite just had an update. They said servers will be down for some people.

I downloaded the predator sense through the acer website for my specific model G3-571 (Just like your model) after factory installing windows 10 home on mine. Not sure why other users are having issues, but my predator sense worked fine. I did install the NVIDIA VGA driver too if that helps any.

Unless you want to open up the laptop, that's probably the only viable option.

You can use a vacuum or an air spray can to blow into the opening.

Is your Dolby Audio equalizer turned on? I found that turning them off fixed the issue.

Make sure that you have the NVIDIA VGA Driver installed. https://www.acer.com/ac/en/US/content/support-product/7213?b=1 Hope this helps!

Yes. The Predator Helios HDD bay supports 2.5" drives. My old laptop had a 2.5" so I installed it into my helios. Hope this helps!

I believe you can find the actual dolby audio installer in Realtek's folder DAX2 "C:\Program Files (x86)\Realtek\Audio\DAX2" and try to manually install it. Some people had the same issue in this thread: https://community.acer.com/en/discussion/447598/where-to-get-dolby-drivers Also see if you can find the dolby folder:…

I had the same issue after factory resetting my laptop. Please head over to Realtek's website and download the most current audio drivers (Version 2.82): http://www.realtek.com.tw/DOWNLOADS/downloadsCheck.aspx?Langid=1&PNid=14&PFid=24&Level=4&Conn=3&DownTypeID=3&GetDown=false After installing the first portion of it,…
