Thats a really good idea, sort of a spare battery. How much charge does it give you?

Thanks acer-karp that was somewaht helpful but I fly often and worry that the 'on' battery life may not be long enough to last an entire trip but you're right, the fewer things that are running along with a dimmer screen should get me closer to the max. Just wish the max was a little more max you know?
