Waste of money? Let me tell you 10 years ago my 80GB ssd costed $200 with read speeds of around 500MB/s. A nvme 1TB now is $100 with read speeds 3300MB/s. Also $180 in 2009 is $215 dollars now.

You dont need any software to improve it, only registry tweaks can improve it. I would just reinstall windows. Whatever u installed messed with the master boot record
