Looks like there's a loose connection to where you're plugging the power, @DeeHussain Try to plug your laptop charger to a different plug point and see if this issue comes back, preferably one with an earthing. That'll get rid of all the sparks. If you still see any sparks, it is never a good sign. It could damage your…

Hi @Bash61949 If front panel jack detection is enabled in Realtek HD Audio Manager, your laptop may not be able to detect your headphones. To disable front panel jack detection in Realtek HD Audio Manager, follow these steps: * Right-click the Realtek HD Audio Manager icon in the system tray, and select Sound Manager. *…

Hey derpman, It seems to me like there's a problem with the wiring and circuitry of your laptop. Do you happen to know if it has been dropped on the floor, or if there's some liquid spilled on it sometime, or anything of the sort? Since you say this only happens when you move the computer, it might be that moving the…

Update: Issue resolved What worked for me here was going to the BIOS settings and enabling advanced touchpad.
-
You might be right here, because I too once faced issues with bad Windows updates. The only thing that worked for me was a drastic step: resetting PC to factory conditions. Be advised, the data will be deleted. So, backup your important data beforehand, just in case you wanna do what I did.

Hi. Try updating your nvidia drivers, and other system software from acer's support page. It most likely is a driver problem. Also, make sure your laptop is virus free. Use predator sense to set coolboost ON and turn fan speeds to max when necessary.

Hi @preet121 I too once had the same problem on my G3-572. I know, the audio just sucks without it. As a temporary solution, I created a user defined process which runs the dolby desktop app every time I turn on my pc or log in. The permanent solution was to reset my PC, erase all unwanted data and it began working…

Hi. I've played CoD WW2 on my laptop with lesser specs than yours (G3-572: 8GB RAM and 4GB graphics Nvidia 1050Ti, core i5 7th gen) with no lag and temperatures never over 85C. 98C is certainly not normal. Did you try maxing out your fan speeds on Predator Sense along with some undervolting solutions (Intel XTU or…

My G3-572 came with a 128GB SSD, are you sure yours didn't? And for the M.2, I think you'll only need to get an SSD and you'll be good to go. No frills.

...you could try to find alternative softwares to Predator Sense, but the result will be the same. I too once wondered why I don't feel a difference and so I benchmarked games with turbo on and at normal. What I found out, was that it is just as it seems. There's barely any improvement. Your average FPS doesn't change…

Do you need to elevate the laptop for better cooling? I've observed that all the air only goes out from the red vents below the screen. I am not sure if a cooling pad would make a difference. Any suggestions as to how I could keep the top of the keyboard area any cooler?

Try running your games now. Did it work?
-
During the Nvidia driver update, you can choose whether to do a custom installation or a recommended installation, and you had to choose the custom option.
-
Update it to the latest, more stable version 391.35 (I think.) EDIT: Download it from here Do a Custom installation and check 'do a clean installation.'
-
Try installing the latest drivers from your laptop model's support page, as well as an update for graphics from Nvidia's site. Usually, the graphic drivers fix all the problems, so give it a shot. PS: provide info on your Model Number as well
-
also, this thread might help.
-
I have the same model. Can you tell me the current Nvidia driver version?
-
@RainToday Can you provide complete information so that it becomes easier for the forum to answer? as @ven98 says: If your question is about a device you own or want information on, always post the following characterisitcs of the device: -Model number -Part number(not required, but helpful) -CPU -GPU -Operating system
-
Hi @varun988 as @Sharanji mentioned, the GPU isn't always running, and it is completely natural to see the idle message on the predator sense. I get it all the time when I'm not playing any games. It's not a problem. Also, can you provide info on your model number?
-
Yes, it can be fixed. Try updating your drivers from the support page for your laptop. Also, make sure you're virus free, by running the windows defender.
