They come here for answers and see everyone with broken Acers like their's. All these bad post's makes them think they bought the wrong machine. I just thought people would like to hear about some news about people that fixed there problems and had a computer that lasted a long time?

95 degrees C and higher is too hot if that is the sustained temperature. The CPU will not last as long. If these are spikes it is less of a problem. Mine does that running Nero and while doing video rendering and spikes for just a second now and then but stays around 75 - 83 most of the time. There are not many external…

Tere's Easwar's same old answer to everything :) I'll have to check out whar that really does some day. Amyway. Have you hooked it up to HDMI output to an external monitor or TV to see if you can see any video output? If it's only the monitor, maybe it's outputing a signal though the HDMI and you can use it.

Hi BLeeBLee, Easwar tells everyone to do that same thing with all their problems. I don't know what it does, but hope it works for you. I used to have the same thing happen to an old machine I owned. It was on Windows 7 though. I could never get it fixed but I did find a work around. I used to put the computer in hibernate…

If you paid someone $100 and didn't make them do what you wanted, who's fault is that?
-
Thanks, that's what I wanted to know. I have no need to use it yet, I was just interested in how long ago they changed it. My PH315-53-must still have it.

I was just starting to gather all the info for you and I realized I have the 2060 graphics, sorry. Acer will sell you a restore USB drive for your model if you ever decide you want one.

What is wrong with 10.1.18383.8193 being installed? That is the newest version. I'm lost here. 10.1.31.2 is just a random name they gave the update file. Kind of confusing i guess. I'm sure they got tired of typing all those long numbers. But you can see 10.1.18383.8193 is the update from 10.1.18383.8213.

So, it looks the hardware is ready, but no games support it yet. Get ready to wait :)

You're not specifying whether you still want these programs to run but not use the CPU or if you don't want them to ever run at all. The former would take reprogramming to run differently, the latter would just involve keeping the program from running at all in startup or deleting it.

Fan noise has always been a problem. It used to be, and still is for some, case fans for some devices. Fitting them into laptops and making them quiet has been tough. The only thing you can do is drown the noise out with something else you can tolerate like music, a room fan, or game sounds. And as far as redirecting the…

Was your orignal boot disk a 512 gb? Maybe that's what he means? If it was only 512 gb you would have to clone it over then resize it with disk manager to 1 TB. The M.2 slots are upgradeable to whatever size ssd you can buy as far as I know.

Why would you want to use raid on a laptop? The other drive is going to be the boot disk and you can't run raid on it. I don't understand what you will be trying to do. Don't raid drives have to be identical?

The blades used to look different, but they look more similar on the newer units. The GPU fan is the one on the left side when you open the back. You can watch a YouTube video of one being swapped out under warranty.
-
Can you look and see which one is installed. Is 10.1.18263.8193 newer than the one you have? What's the resst of your model number?
-
.If it's new, try doing a Windows 10 re-install from partition. If you can't or it doesn't work, you may need it worked on.
-
They are 2 completely different kind of fans and aren't supposed to run the same speed. Their max is their max.
-
Did you run a virus scan?

I prefer the mini DP. I have used both and the switching seems to be faster on the DP. When I used to close the lid on my Helios, the screen would always flash for a half a second using the HDMI and it annoyed me. It doesn't do it or not nearly as bad with the DP cable.

Have you changed the memory from original or run a memory check?
