Try force shut down? Hold the power button until it turns off. Maybe that will fix it.

Did they have to erase data on your hard drive? Do you know if this would be the problem on all Acer laptops?

The rubber pad that I'm missing is on the wristrest, so I don't really want to cut one because it will look pretty tacky.. :/

Try reinstalling the wireless drivers, maybe it will solve the issue.

Is the laptop turned off? Any indication of power?

Maybe try defragmenting your hard drive.

You could use a Border Mail Service in the US, and send it and pick it up from there.

You should try contacting Acer support, see if they can help you. I did a quick Google search, and no specific results came up.

This laptop is pretty new, so I would like to keep it in the best condition possible. I really want to fix it, any recommendations on products that can fix the scratches??

The picture has a light outline around the keyboard, and in the dark, mine has no outline around the spacebar, so I was kind of confused...

That's strange, because when I visit the webpage and press the + sign, it shows me a picture of the spacebar lit up?
