I have Swift 5 SF14-52T model and I got this flickering problem suddenly after using the system for 4+ years. When on battery backup, it was less but was getting worse as soon as I plugged it in. At first I suspected the connecting cable from the MB to the display. But first did the "Task Manager test" which didn't work…

I removed the bezel and checked. The connector is very tightly connected (factory set).In fact a sticker kind of thing is stuck over the connector, so that there is no scope for it to loosen.

No I haven't. I didn't open anything. Just guessed the issue because of the nature of the problem. What exactly in the connector should I check after removing the bezel ? What am I looking for ? Thanks Moorthy

The below link shows that swift-5-sf514-52 has 2 SSD slots, whereas I got a reply from Acer support that it has only 1 slot. Which one is the correct info ? https://www.myfixguide.com/acer-swift-5-sf514-52-disassembly-m-2-ssd-upgrade-options/

Thanks. A second SSD slot was what I needed.

Thanks. That removes my confusion and now I can happily add another SSD to my system.
