    I have Swift 5 SF14-52T model and I got this flickering problem suddenly after using the system for 4+ years. When on battery backup, it was less but was getting worse as soon as I plugged it in. At first I suspected the connecting cable from the MB to the display. But first did the "Task Manager test" which didn't work and then the driver update which showed that the best driver is already installed. Nothing worked. Then to make sure that it isn't the power issue, I followed the steps for the "Power Reset" and the problem was totally gone. I am so much relieved, otherwise was planning to check for connecting cable / also the replacement display.

    Good to hear that worked for you. The lithium-ion batteries on laptops do get confused sometimes and a proper battery reset clears it up more often than not.
