Try removing all USBs , if it works test each one to see which does it , could also be some app preventing it to sleep ,no ideea how to find that out .

You can try playing in the garage or in a tent or just wait for the summer to pass and play inside the house 🤣 … if you can barely see in WoW i wonder how's Diablo 😅 . Probably there are some very high brightness displays but i don't think you`ll want them since you use a laptop .

Remove them again along with Visual C++ 2015_XX , restart and install the 2015_XX x64 from and Predator Sense . Update BIOS if it's not up to date . Does the laptop have lighting ? what model is it ?
-
How about trying this : Go to Control Panel and unninstall Predator Sense Install/Config(or use a tool to clean it from the system) > also Microsoft Visual C++ 2015_XX > turn off Fast Start Up > restart > install VC++ 2015_XX X64 from and Predator Sense > restart again and update Windows(optional ones aswell) > restart .…

Try running it as an administrator . (right-click)

If you're going to do that please come back and let us know the difference , even if i`m in doubt that's the cause since it's a new laptop and has a very hot CPU . Lifting the laptop off the desk/table so it can drag more air will also help a bit (or using a laptop cooler) + room temperature . You could also use NVIDIA GPU…

It's probably not asleep, as you say, but that doesn't matter to me as much as the lights being off and the screen locked. Yep , definitely not asleep , never searched for the exact definition of Sleep but when it sleeps it's similar to shut down and after waking up it will resume as it was before sleep , you can close…

70 C Idle on what ? If it's the CPU and the laptop runs on iGPU then that's the "normal" temperature , others on Turbo goes beyond 85C reaching 95C and above .

Nah he is not here for help , he just wants to brag of how much a "software engineer" he is ..unable to manage a laptop .😂🤣😅
-
Check Predator Sense , there is an option with "after 30 seconds" and also lighting settings for keyboard , logo , back lights/logo .
-
I don't think it can go in Sleep while playing something on it so probably just the "Turn off the display" after XX minutes takes action(if you have it set in Power Options) and not Sleep because it plays the stream , maybe sometimes the stream stops by itself and then it goes to Sleep also possible . If it's the same…

I no longer have it if the file was what you were asking for , it was just some other version of Predator Sense .
-
You find the lights on because it's spying on you while you sleep 😂🤣 … just joking , probably because it's not going to sleep , if the lights are on and fans are spinning then something prevented it to go in sleep mode or something woke it up . I noticed happening a few times when i was trying to figure out something else…

After closing down the lid ? or what do you mean with "closing it down" ? Laptop model ?
-
Remove it from Control Panel and install it again or just click the installer maybe it has an option to reinstall . VGA Driver(UMA) Intel

Is Dynamic Lighting off in Windows settings ?
-
I don't think there is enough evidence to consider a hardware problem , i would say it`s more related to Predator Sense / NVIDIA (software part) . Maybe i`m wrong but the laptop model is PH16-71(it was released last year) , not PHN nor 16-72(this year`s model) , so we can't talk about "new buggy software" anymore , not…

Yep , i know Predator Sense is the same as the one in BIOS , i was thinking maybe it was "bugged" or something and was staying on iGPU . Maybe the Fast Start-Up option is not saving Predator Sense`s settings correctly ? and it loads default on Auto , you could try disabling fast start-up and also reinstall iGPU and clean…
-
I don't know what exactly can cause that , check if it`s set to NVIDIA only in Predator Sense and NVIDIA Control Panel also or you could leave it on Auto and after Windows loads change it to NVIDIA like this :
-
Ok , never heard of that before nor what is used for(but i do think it is possible with some Windows or other tools) , i don't remember something in BIOS related to that so it shouldn't affect it . If you want to be more assured you can make a new post with it , maybe others will know more . BTW i was confusing Disk 0 with…
