Acer aspire s 24 keeps going black screen for a few seconds

We have 2 x Acer Sspire S 24. One if perfectly fine but the other keeps blinking off (black screen as if the power goes out) only to come back a few seconds later. It happens every 5-10 minutes. What gives?

Have you tried updating the drivers from the intel website? Have you also checked the power settings?

Also checked , replace or pull the bios battery for15-30 minutes or more. Unplug the unit when doing this.
Also is it rebooting or just blacking out. If so check the monitor cables and by replacing if necessary. Intel Drivers too as suggested.

Window Update + manual Chip Set update seems to have done the trick, thank you guys.

Sadly the chip set update did not help.

It is set to always on, never go into sleep or anything like that mode.

Not sure how I do this. Is this even accessible? Aspire S 24 seems very "locked"

Just blacking out for 1-2 seconds.

Can't. It is all integrated.

Is your model the S24-880? Does the same problem occur, when disabling these functions?

Personally, I would update all drivers, then reseat and clean all cables going to the monitor inside and reset the bios by pulling the bios battery for 30 minutes or so.
I'm not sure as to where the battery is myself but I'll research later by googling & looking a You Tube as it has a bios and battery.

Thank you Larry, but I am not going to disable this to mess with the battery. This PC is barely a year old and well within warranty. I will hear what Acer support says.
