  • Only the 3G version supports GNSS i think, so you're gonna have to wait for w301 (?) The problem is that Broadcomm based GNSS is not supported yet by alot of Maps software... It has a different architecture IIRC, So either we will have to wait for the compatible version, or use usb gps... Same thing happen with asus…

  • Hmm i don't see Dolby digital on the side... Thanks but i don't think we can test the gps using that program because it only covers US and canada.. Any response from Acer technician about this matter? Is there a patch planned for this? I will keep looking for information about broadcomm gps, hopefully there will be a patch…
  • @Aeon : Yes, it does have GNSS geolocation sensor under sensors category. I've tried repairing the GNSS installation but unfortunatel garmin still won't detect it.. Haven't tried google maps, cause actually i want a complete GPS application (Garmin/Sygic) to work. I got it for $800 here in Indonesia (with the sleeve), with…

So either we will have to wait for the compatible version, or use usb gps...

Unfortunately the program that i want still doesnt run properly... oh well... It's just GPS problem now... A-GPS =/= GPS? I hope one of Acer's technician could explain it…
  • Bump, anyone have experience running win xp?
  • Any confirmation from acer regarding this gps matter? i wouldnt mind if it just lacks proper driver, it could be fixed with an update or patch but if it lacks the needed hardware then its a serious problem because we are promised AGPS
