I dunno if that means the dedicated GPU is always on. The only way it should be always on is if you are somehow running an application that uses the GPU (e.g. Adobe Photoshop).

I have the Helios 300 with the 1660ti. I updated the drivers and can confirm that it does not hurt the laptop's performance in any way. Some games have improved performance with the newer drivers.

@belal Hi there, those blue lines on the 2019 Helios 300 (both the 15" and 17" models) aren't supposed to light up. They are stickers inset into the metal lid and are there purely for aesthetic purposes.
