Improve Aspire ES1-531 startup time

Why does my Aspire ES1-531 take a long time to power on when using battery power?

Some Acer Aspire ES1-531 systems may take longer than expected to start when using battery power. Installing the latest BIOS update can improve the boot time for ES1-531 models that have 500GB or 1TB hard drives.

Visit the Drivers and Manuals section of the Acer support website.
Enter your Serial Number/SNID or search for your product by Model.
Select BIOS/Firmware.
Click the Download link for the file you want to download.
Follow the instructions in the readme.txt file to install the BIOS.

Note: Systems with 32GB and 64GB SSD drives should not experience slower boot times.
