What to Do if NitroSense Software Will Not Start

NitroSense software allows you to monitor your CPU and GPU temperatures, as well as adjust fan speed and power plan settings for optimal performance. If your NitroSense software will not load properly, you can try the suggestions below to see if they resolve your issue.

1. Restart your computer

Restart your computer and try to launch NitroSense.
If NitroSense still will not launch, proceed to step 2 below.

2. Rebuild the Windows performance counters.

Open the Windows cmd prompt as Administrator.
Type the command lodctr /R and press Enter.
Restart your laptop and try to launch NitroSense.
If NitroSense still will not launch, proceed to step 3 below.

3. Uninstall then Reinstall NitroSense

Click on Start ⊞.
Click on All Apps.
Right-Click on NitroSense and select🗑️Unistall.
Visit the Acer Drivers and Manuals site
Choose your model by entering your Serial number, SNID or model number.
Click on Application.
Click the download link for the Acer NitroSense software.
Extract the Zip file.
Double click on the Setup.exe file to install NitroSense.
