How to connect a monitor with a built-in webcam - Acer Community
<main> <article class="userContent"> <h2 data-id="how-do-i-setup-the-webcam-on-my-acer-monitor"><em>How do I setup the webcam on my Acer monitor?</em></h2><p>Some Acer monitors have a built-in USB webcam that allows you to easily record video or video conference with family, friends or other online gamers. If your monitor has a built-in camera, you should be able to visibly see the camera lens, and the monitor should include a USB cable in the box. Please follow the steps bellow to connect your monitor and webcam.</p><ol><li>Plug in your monitor and connect it to your computer using a VGA, HDMI, DVI or DisplayPort cable.</li><li>Connect the USB cable to your monitor USB port and one of the USB ports on your computer. Windows will show a notification message and automatically detect and initialize the webcam.</li><li>You can verify your webcam is working using the Windows camera app. If you do not have it installed, you can download it from the <a href="https://store.microsoft.com/" rel="nofollow noreferrer ugc">Microsoft store</a>.</li></ol><p><strong>Note:</strong> If your webcam is not automatically detected, check our <a href="http://us.acer.com/ac/en/US/content/drivers" rel="nofollow noreferrer ugc">Acer Drivers and Manuals page</a> to see if a webcam driver is available.
