Called support. They say I have to ship to them. Why? Have fixed problems like this before over phone.

    Acer or MS support :) and whats it doing?

    Are you doing the "auto" activate or using the product key? If you havent tried the prodcut key try using the change product key in the activation settings and use the key from if you run this in powershell (it grabs the key from the uefi)
    wmic path softwarelicensingservice get OA3xOriginalProductKey

    I Called Acer help.  This is a windows 10s mode laptop. I cannot find the product key anywhere. Usually there is a sticker or a card in the box.

    They key is now in the UEFI rather than on the box / thing like it used to be so you can grab it out of it using the command :)

    Command didn't work. But I was able to find a key recovery app in the microsoft app store.  ShowKeyPlus.  Got the OEM Key installed it. Everything seems ok now. Got it out of win 10 s mode, much better now.  Thank you, for your help.
