This monday when I went to go to my zoom meeting I found it wasn't picking up audio. At first I chalked it up to the application but I found it no longer works anywhere. I tried troubleshooting, changing all the settings, but it is not working. I really need this fixed to continue my work. I have an acer asipire 3 and I only bought it last november

    Hi,
Go  to Device Manager, expand Audio inputs and outputs, right click Microphone Array and select Properties, uninstall the driver in Driver tab, reboot and let Windows install the driver.

OK, try the fix in my previous post, you could also try updating your Windows version, it will install the latest drivers, go to Settings, click Updates and Security tile.

I refreshed the update. It took several hours but now my windows is fully up to date. Re-tried the previous fix. Still is not working

This means you are using microsoft's generic driver, not realtek's driver.

How do I fix this? I never. Manually did anything I am not very techsavvy

    Hi foleos,

Please try to record a self video by saying some words. And play the file if you can get the audio means issue is not with the microphone. If issue not resolved lets us check with some T/S.

    Post the result.

Hi replying in one go. The first thing I did was use the camera function to check, and yes it is a system issue not simply with my apps. Like I said I already messed with settings- tried resseting and rebooting all them. My system is compltetly up to date. I have tried unistalling and reinstalling the drivers. Nothing is working
