Is my Nitro 5 AN515-53 compatible with a NVME SSD?

Hello! I've had my Acer Nitro 5 AN515-53 for about a year now, and have recently done some upgrades. I put in new RAM which went in just find and loaded just find. The troubles come from the fact that I have installed a Crucial P2 500GB NVMe M.2 SSD, it went in just fine but isnt showing up in file explorer, system info, or the partition menu. So my question is, is this drive even compatible with m model or is it just a software setting i need to change? I've looked at some models and a MSATA drive wont work and neither will a M.2 Sata, so i'm pretty lost.
Thanks!
