I am thinking of installing Linux on my new Acer Aspire 5s and completely wipe out Windows 10 from the hard drive. Will doing so, void the warranty. I read the warranty T&C but did not find any such point. I could have missed it perhaps. Please let me know. Thank in advance.

No, don't worry you can install Linux and your warranty will be OK.

Thank you for your reply. I actually already installed Linux. Couldn't bear the frustration of Windows 10.

End result on my behalf: They have changed the title of the heading.
I have stated why it's okay and within their warranty and clause, but now I can no longer carry on my work due to them classifying it as a Modification.
In accordance to the warranty given its legal (warranty I have received), since they are determining it isn't I choose not too fight it, keep my current ACER laptop as is with Windows, and let all my associates know the programming work can not be completed as ACER does not cover hardware with Linux OS according to their emails (now been silenced to give details), so certain programmers have all chosen not to do any programming with any associations with ACER devices, software or correspondence with any events using ACER products.

In EU they sell Laptops with no OS or even with Linux... so what is wrong with Acer Australia?

ACER are claiming they will not cover hardware warranty if Linux is installed on their device, classed as a "Modification" and refuse to cover it from the constant back and forth email from them.
