Ok, so that won't help either? Did you try CTRL+ALT+F11? I figure it probably doesn't work without the actual choice in the settings, but when you are desperate you want to try everything.

Don't see any edit buttons sadly, but I was looking around some more and found people with similar issues:

It sounds like manufacturers can disable options for graphics. Could a person at Acer confirm/deny if their products disable graphical options? (In my case on the W510).

Because I recalled that I actually edited my registry as per suggestion on an older suggestion I found, and it didn't do anything. Which would be explained if it is already turned off on a lower level.

Why not allow us to have fullscreen with stretched images if we want it?

PS. Found the edit button now.

yep.. tried ctrl-alt-f11 ... nothing with the new drivers. Yep it's frustrating.. and when there's just 2 of us that this problem seems to effect at the moment we probably won't get any answers or help anytime soon. Really sucks.. I travel alot and with the stellar battery life this sucker has I was looking forward to some coast to coast flights playing some good 'ol rpgs and when it's a small windows in the middle of the screen it's not gonna happen.  Seem's like there's always something! I guess life must be pretty good when this is something that's a priority to me.. haha Smiley Happy

My W510 tablet is a good tablet and terrible PC I'd say.

In tablet mode, I'll just on-screen keyboard and flip it to portrait and I have somewhat fullscreen + keyboard on a tablet. (786 is slightly too small for a 800 width game, so I could have picked a better tablet).

But when I connect the keyboard part with extra battery, the lack of full screen really becomes an annoyance. I no longer need extra space for on-screen keyboards and just want my application to cover the entire screen.

It is lucky that I have a regular PC at home that I play games on, so that I can have fullscreen when I want. Just frustrating that the tablet can't do what I find to be basic functionality of a computer.
