Decided to Buy Predator Helios 300... Biggest Mistake

I am an R6 lover and Acer's Predator brand is the official sponsor of R6 Pro League. Due to the fact that, I decided to buy Predator Predator PH317-52 and made the biggest mistake in my life. The laptop is burning like hell even I installed ThrottleStop from here.

Thank god I am using an external keyboard, because I cannot touch the built-in keyboard due to heat.

This is my first Acer product ever and I am sure I will never buy an Acer product again.

I had some big heat issues as well, the CPU was hitting 92C just sitting around doing light tasks/playing a game that wasn't intensive. Disabling Turbo and making sure the battery slider was set to Better Performance so it would actually take into account the battery settings dropped it to low 40s even when gaming. There's a disable turbo button right there.

The way I went about it was a battery performance plan and the plugged in maximum processor state I set to 99%. This completely disables turbo. You MUST have the slider bar set to Better Performance, not Best Performance or it will ignore this. I wish more people knew about how to easily solve it just putting out too much power when you don't need it.

Now I can game 1440p 144hz on an external and never rise above 50c and the fans are quiet.

I have ThrottleStop but I'm not using it because I didn't need it to solve my issues, but you can see my temperatures are quite good now.

Fohefe optimise your windows properly undervolt it with TS as you already did (but undervolting most times wont do anything without proper windows optimization and repasting ) if still needed repaste it with kryonaut or similar if youre able to without voiding your warranty or send it back to acer to get it repasted with stock paste also just because you didnt know what to do to lower your temps down doesnt mean its a bad product in fact its the best budget gaming laptop hardware/price wise the only ones who can compete with acer its msi  good luck

PS: never game on battery it will damage your battery only use it on emergency and light works apart from that alwasy on AC at all times and
OTLC you have disable turbo boost (thats not even an option i wont advise it to anyone) this means your cpu will not boost from the stock clock speed if you run into a game/software that needs it to boost you wont have any performance left but good luck with that :)
