I recently got the predator helios 300 ph 315-52 2019 model. Everything is at stock settings(default cpu undervolt included) and i have optimized windows. My cpu temps hit max 83-86 but gpu temps are constantly at 86 though the ambient temperature is a bit hot (33-37). Is this normal ? Should I consider undervolting my gpu or any other suggestions are welcome.

The gpu throttles at 87. Normally you should get 70-75 ish temp but given your ambient is that high, 75-80 ish temp seem reasonable.
Since the laptop is new dust might not be the reason but I'd still check the fans anyway(might be something wrong with them).
Shoddy thermal paste application might also be another reason. If you are feeling adventurous you can do it yourself(It will void your warranty). Or, go to a service center and have them repaste.
Try using coolbost to see if that helps and yes, try undervolting cpu and the gpu further.

I did try undervolting the gpu ... But still no effect. This started happening 2-3 days back . A week ago gpu was hitting max 83 but it would decrease even further in an AC room. Now , irrespective of my surrounding , be it an AC room or not and even with an undervolt its constantly at 86 while playing any game (witcher 3, metro exodus or RDR2) . There does not seem to be any throttling though. I wondered if there was a problem in PS but Msi AB also shows 86.

Abhisek the dgpu shouldnt go above 70/75 max and the cpu 85'ish thats definitely too hot (most probably a bad thermal paste application on stock) if you already optimised your windows properly and undervolted it further with TS seems you need to either repaste it yourself with kryonaut or similar if you can without voiding your warranty or contact acer and send it back to get it repasted with stock paste and make sure you have the back lifted 2/3" at all times for a proper airflow and msi ab its pretty accurate whne it comes to temps you can also check hwinfo and compare  either way good luck :)

The cpu normally remains around 80 and only goes upto around 85 after long hours. I dont think thats bad considering my ambient temperature is 30+. But the dgpu is constantly at 86 in any surrounding (hot or air conditioned). Thats the confusing part. Also will a cooling pad help ? All the service centres here are closed due to lockdown in my country and i cannot repaste by myself. And yeah i do have the back lifted about 3-4 cms while gaming

Abhisek yeah definitely a bad thermal paste application you need to get it repasted as i already mentioned above either u or acer theres no other option your gpu will start to thermal throttle above 80'ish and the cpu temps should always be higher than the gpu in normal circumstances
