Normal (idle) tempetature for Acer Predator Helios 300

I am curious, what is the normal idle temperature for an Acer Predator Helios 300? I have this computer for 6 months now, and CPU idle's temperature can be anywhere up to 60 degrees Celsius, with lowest being 41, and CPU usage is around 7% with basically only Predator Sense opened (programs running in the background not counter, which is probably just BitDefender and default apps, no malware as I am aware). CPU temperature when gaming can reach up to 97 when gaming for a while. This depends on how resource hungry game is. The high temperature while gaming is OK, it's probably at the upper limit, but that's after a few hours of gaming when the computer takes a high load. I am rather worried about temperature when the computer is pretty much-doing nothing significant while there can still be like 10 to 20C spike out of nowhere. Is this normal?

I didn't try to disassemble and clean the computer (afraid it may invalidate the warranty), I did, however, try to clean it with compressed air. Didn't try to undervolt as I am not certain of a safe setting

If you are playing high resourced games I would suggest that you use a laptop pad cooler as any laptop will overheat in playing games for long period s of time. If the laptop is under warranty don't open it, take it back and get Acer to have a look at your laptops cpu/gpu's and they might repaste them, also they will look at the fans if they are working correctly. The high temp of 97c is very high but and if the temp gets any higher, the laptop will turn off so that it wont damage any components.

I've had overheating problems with an Aspire V3-571G (which is a known laptop for overheating) which overheated beyond 97c and turned off, I bought a laptop cooler tablet and repasted the cpu/gpu and also changed the fan and I also modified the case ventilation holes for extra cooling but, I wouldn't suggest this as your laptop is under warranty and I would suggest that you let Acer fix this overheating problem(s).

I got a cooling pad in the meantime, it helps a little bit for games, and bring down CPU temperature quite a lot when idle. From what I understand spikes of temperature are not a big problem as the notebook is designed to handle them, at least until they lead to shutdowns which then is a flaw at which point I can take the laptop back and they will have to clean it our etc. Until then, I guess it's considered normal, even though I still have to wonder why the spikes when idle. I can always take it back to the store and simply demand it cleaned.
