Acer predator helios 300 G3-571 battery does not charge, orange light blinks when plugged in

I've tried that step and it sounds like I am having the same issue as the other person. I have updated my Bios to the current one. Its just so annoying.

Have you tried to disconnect and reconnect the lithium battery?

Yes.

I have disconnected the battery and replaced it with a new one and tried that repeating the above steps.

Ive updated the bios. Swapped out chargers. Tried new battery with old charger and new charger. Tried old battery with new charger and old charger.

Uninstalled the battery drivers after each test. Placed tape on the memory door to make sure that button stays down.

Have you checked that this battery reset button is locked down?

The correct thing is that this button must be free and not blocked.

I have and the button is free. The connection is secure and no issues with the port. The reset button moves up and down perfectly.

I found that very odd as well. I went back to the old power adapter and its the same showing in that program. I have it plugged directly into the wall at work. I get the same exact reading at work and at home.

Does the new battery have the same voltage as the old battery?

This is the new battery. I replaced the charging port as well. There is no damage to the port internally either.

Dont know if it will help but my helios 500 had problem with charging It wouldnt charge while plugged in (battery light was blue) the battery % wasnt going up and while playing it was going down and while my power adapter was disconnected battery light was blinking orange and because I had that 3 years acer warrenty I sent it back for repair and now Im waiting to get mainboard replaced. So maybe your mainboard is [Sensitive Content]

It is a little complicated to say whether the problem is on the motherboard or not. It could be a problem with the power adapter, the dc-in jack connector, the battery, or the motherboard.

I am starting to believe it is the motherboard that is causing all of this issue honestly. I have changed out everything else and did as many updates as possible. Sadly I am out of warranty for my laptop and I saw a motherboard replacement to be very expensive. I'm starting to see others post battery issues as well, making me think this is a grander issue.
