Swift 3 - Horizontal line on display never goes away...

Dear Community,

It is my turn to raise a concern with the display of my Swift 3. Few days ago the display showed a horizontal blue line all across the width of the display, which never goes away no matter what I've tried. Looks like pixel(s) row gone dead or else. This horizontal line appears under all conditions, upon booting up, below the ACER logo during main start-up, always...

I fear this is hardware problem, which means that I have to go through the hassle of contacting ACER and keeping fingers crossed that they will have the replacement part in stock, plus the uncertainty that the problem will come back again at any time. Laptop bought in August 2019 so it is still in warranty period. What's worse is that I am now based away from the country which I've bought the laptop, so this will also cost me a return flight ticket..

Very disappointing for my first ever ACER laptop...

    Dear Community,

Attached is a screenshot of how this horizontal line appears on the display of my Swift 3.
Has anyone else experienced a similar issue?
    Thanks.

It might be possible the issue is caused by the cable not getting a good connection, but that usually shows up with more lines than just the one. Are you still in warranty? If so I'd contact Acer support to get it fixed.
