During gaming, the cpu temperature reaches upto 98C and so GPU temp. I'd repasted the laptop a month before. And, this problem persists for a year Ive tried undervolting, overclocking and reinstalling the OS and still no hope. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Aasish26 undervolt with TS instead as @egydiocoelho advised but first remove xtu completely and shutdown/reset bios to defaults (not restart) and if the temps are still high after repasting its the only solution with kryonaut or similar if you can yourself without voiding the warranty or out of warranty otherwise only acer can repaste it under warranty and feel free to try the new PS version here

I don't know which program you used to Undervolt but try this but first return the voltage to normal and delete or disable the undervolting program you used.
Undervolt using the custom built preconfigured Throttlestop profile for your processor, link below.  These custom built profiles were designed by one of our gamers and are very simple to use, tested and safe, they drop the temperature by around 10 deg.

Aasish26 repaste with kryonaut or similar its the only solution if you can yourself without voiding your warranty if not you have to send it back to acer to get it repasted with the usual stock paste
