How are you using it  during these first 30 minutes? Playing games? Web surfing? A combination of both?  What happens if you don't turn it off after 30 minutes but keep using it the same way for another 30 minutes? These are symptoms of overheating. Jack E/NJ
anything stressfull anything like sitting there will take like an hour or so

Yes, but the fans are running full speed while it's turned on. When you shut down or put it to sleep, active air circulation cooling by the fans is also shut off. Without active cooling, the CPU/GPU may actually reach higher even critical temperatures (via thermal inertia even though the power is off) for a period of time before passive convective/conductive cooling brings the temperature back down to the point where the machine can be turned on again. Are you actually monitoring temperatures when gaming? If yes, how high do they get when you game for hours? Jack E/NJ

Depends on the game the fans usually only sit around 3000 or so the max is 6000 il upload the temps after a game or 2 of pubg

so after running some more tests when left ideal it read about 39 degrees after 1-2 hours when left with a bench mark programme running for about 1-2 hours 69 degrees. when left ideal shut down and turned back on no issues when running with a benchmark shut down the issue arose again so this might be as JackE said and its a cooling issue.

If you force a power off via holding the power button down for 30 seconds while in the bad state, will it then power up normally? If so the problem is likely software that is not handling the sleep states right. If the hard power off doesn't help then it's likely @JackE is right and we should look at heat issues. What happens if you don't load the OS, but stay in the BIOS screen for the 30 minutes?

Do you mean If you leave it in the BIOS screen for 30 minutes, then turn it off, then it won't turn on again? Jack E/NJ

So, as @billsey asked,  does this mean that it turns on OK again if you only have the BIOS screen running for 30 minutes? Jack E/NJ

Yes, but what I think @billsey wanted to know was if the laptop still behaved the same under very low power and heat BEFORE the operating system takes over. The best way of testing is to enter the BIOS menu and let it idle for 30 minutes. You don't have to change anything in the BIOS menu. I think you should do this as a test. Jack E/NJ

I suspect that the CPU/GPU heat sink needs to be cleaned up and re-pasted with a good quality thermal compound. Jack E/NJ

That light says on for 6-7 seconds I think the light from the darker one is lighting up the one next to it just I'm not sure there is an significant meaning behind it but I thought it might be the thermal paste when @billsey mentioned heat issues as I know that stock thermal paste isn't great and taking that it's well over a year old now and has had some intense gaming sessions thermal paste might be the issue il order some in and get to work il update you guys on the progress.
