Hello,
I have an Aspire E 15 (E5-576G-81GD). I'm having trouble with a USB C hub. I can't get external monitors to recognize and display. My question is, does my laptop's usb c port support video out via the usb c port?

The two USB C hubs I've tried are: 1) Hiearcool, Model# UCN 3270;  and 2) Totu, Model# TT-HB003A   (amazon link to #2, https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07Q9JXWTP/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 )

Would I need another type of Hub or some sort of adapter to make these Hubs display my external monitors?
Thank you for the help!

    Good evening HotRoDDt !

The connection for this model is USB Type-C port: USB 3.1 Gen 1 (up to 5 Gbps).
Only Gen2 with Thunderbolt support can transfer video data.
In this model it is not possible.

Use a HDMI 3 Port Switch Switcher Splitter, that is the simplest for multi monitor and application use. .

So there is no way possible with my laptop to export video to an external monitor via the usb port?   Thanks for the reply.

Thank you for the info - wish I had done more research and read this before ordering a USB C to HDMI cable.

As per the specifications of the Acer Aspire E 15 (E5-576G-81GD) laptop, it does not have a USB Type-C port that supports video output. The USB Type-C port on your laptop is a USB 3.1 Gen 1 port, which means it supports data transfer and charging capabilities but not video output.

If you need any need in future about the usb-c hub, you can consider the Selore hub, I have personally used Selore products and can highly recommend them for their excellent quality and performance.
