The 2019 models come under-volted from the factory itself.

I tested the 7700hq profile, it looks good, but it undervolted a bit less than my manual testing, and I think it doesn't go turbo clocks. Is that intentional?
I still don't noticed sensible performance drawbacks, but it is scoring lower in userbenchmark.

Besides, what is the difference between intel gpu and igpu unslice?
I regulated the aggressive nature of the CPU while maintaining the performance/overall clocks for the i7-7700HQ.
So you seeing a drop in benchmarks is normal since I've regulated how aggressive the CPU reaches/maintains clock speeds.
Most of the time a processors clock speed being used isn't optimized and your CPU overworks itself increasing temps.
So for gaming the standard "performance" profile should work good, then i created the "benchmark" profile which maxes CPU aggression to get better scores than the stock performance allows.

Intel GPU and unslice undervolt values are similar to the core & cache UV required to undervolt the CPU... both GPU and unslice need to be undervolted to get any benefit.

So I'll combine my response for both of you (@freakshow and @belik)

Each profile does not have the exact same tweaks as each CPU has had different personalities as Intel has released them, so I will cover the generalities.

    Clock speeds:
I adjusted the max clock speeds used when a certain number of cores are active to give power sharing (I'll cover that in a bit) more headroom which also smoothed out for consistent clock speeds.
For example in TS - FIVR options there is inputs on the left for "Turbo Ratio Limits"

What this means is whatever the corresponding value to the left of the input field (1 core active, 2 cores active etc.) I entered a max clock speed for when those number of cores are being used.
Example: If you put 36 in the box next to "4 cores active" this would result in your clock speeds capping at 3.6ghz when only 4 cores are in use.
This is beneficial because the only time all cores are in use (bottom value on that chart; i.e. 6 cores active on the i7-8th) is basically when gaming.
So essentially I can set the clock speeds to an adequate value based on the GPU pairings for that specific CPU and determine the best max clock speed for smooth gaming without performance sacrifice (There might be a small sacrifice depending on the game).

Then I slowly increase the CPU speed increments as the number of cores active decreases.
Example: i7-8750H when all cores are running/active the clocks are capped at 3.6ghz
When only one core is active the max clock is 4.1ghz (i.e. file transfers or basic computing usage)

This way you get a regulated clock for thermals while gaming since your CPU used clocks it didn't really need to game in the first place, I just optimized them.
An added bonus is when doing other basic computations you maintain the max clock speed your CPU is advertised for so theres no overall performance loss from optimizing the gaming core count.

    Speed Shift EPP:
Speed Shift EPP (EPP stands for Energy Performance Profile) regulates how aggressive CPU clocks are at idle as well as how aggressive they are maintained and used.
Speed Shift EPP has values between 0-255. 0 means max performance and max aggression - 255 means super energy efficient and non aggressive
Windows has a stock EPP of 80 which is at it's default setting called "Aggressive".

If you set EPP too high it will actually cap your clock speeds depending on whats being run or whats in the background.
How I determined my values was extensive testing using benchmarks etc to find an EPP value that is just below the clock speed cap (Based on core count usage).
What this does is eliminate power/voltage fluctuations and also regulates BCLK (clock calculation formula) so that your designated clocks don't stress to go beyond what their designed to do. (Something Intel should have done from the start)

    Overall power tweaks:
    Additionally I tweaked each processors;
    1. TDP - The amount of power the CPU is allowed to draw and distribute to each core)
    2. Voltage sharing regulation between the Intel GPU and the CPU (On Optimus systems since the Intel GPU doesn't render anything but whats on the screen, it needed regulation)
    3. IccMax - The amount of power pulled from the power rail

Each one bolsters up the other in just "fine tune" adjustments in order to optimize the overall usage of the CPU.
The way these cores work is like this:
Let's say you have a 45w TDP (Total power for CPU) and you also have a 4 core CPU.
The max clock speed that can be achieved is 3.8ghz but you notice that when all your cores are active there is a cap of 3.4ghz.
This is actually by design - If a single core is conducting a specific task by itself (i.e. mundane or file/network transfer) there is full ability to share most of the limited 45w to that core alone, allowing it to boost to 3.8ghz.

BUT the CPUs are not designed however to share the power and maintain those high clocks when all cores are active, so the TDP is distributed between cores and is shared resulting in 3.4ghz
If you notice while using MSI Afterburner or another OSD utility while gaming using my TS profiles, that same CPU reaches 3.8ghz on all cores (If there is no cap set of course) despite Intels operation which should cap them all at 3.4ghz. I regulate the power so each core is extremely efficient resulting in excess power to be distributed to all cores.

Comments about "Acer should have done this long ago"
Acer can't do this, they are about via manufacturer contract and Intels directives to issue hardware untweaked unless expressly allowed.
I do not work for Acer, I'm a modder/tweaker who just wanted to help fellow Predators out.

My post doesn't cover everything 100% as it would take much longer to explain in great detail everything done but this is the jist of it.
3 months of abusive testing on each CPU I've uploaded a config for is how I came to these results.
Let me know if you have any issues.

I've used your i5-8300H profiles and other users with the same cpu's profile, idle temps are definitely lower at about 45-50 degrees but on games like r6 siege it reaches to about 85-88 degrees and crashes my laptop, what other tweak should I do to lower my temps? I've tried using your config without editing it and doing some editing of my own and nothing helps, also, I've just repasted and can confirm the repaste is good as it dropped my temps by almost 10 degrees but it still crashes my laptop

Hello, thank you for these profiles. I have been using them for my i7 8750h with good success. Now I have started using them aswell on my i7 9750h.

At every clean boot I get multiple event id errors numbered 37 which says:

"The speed of processor (0-8 in group 0) is being limited by system firmware. The processor has been in this reduced performance state for 71 seconds since the last report".

Is this something I should just ignore? The error will only come whenever I run this specific profile. It won't show any error when I use a default profile with only adding the undervolt values that you use, so it's most likely some other setting in the profile as the values seem safe for my CPU.

Aendy ts locks the turbo boost speeds of your cpu to not boost to the max and thermal throttle the errors youre getting are probably completely normal try without TS and see if the errors remain i just ignore any even viewer errors as long as you dont have issues/crashes you should be just fine :)

Thank you! It seems to only happen when I have TS turned on and whenever I start up a game it will show the error. So maybe it's the setting lowering CPU to 3.6ghz whenever 6 cores are active doing this. In that case I will just ignore ;)
