I have attached herewith the error coming during the installation of NVIDIA MX 150 driver.
Graphics is not showing in the booting menu, (Pressed by F2 during start).
Graphics are not showing in Device Manager also.

I need to use Design software. For that, i need a graphics card installed.
Can anyone support to resolve this?

    Dear Sir,

I have tried using your guidance. The problem still persists.

It's not odd not to see the dedicated graphics card in the system firmware, after all at that stage the only thing needed in UEFI systems is a GOP implementation and the integrated card does it.

As for the missing driver, the one that you get off of the Acer support page for your model like @brummyfan2 posted should be compatible with your system. The installer error you when trying to install the NVIDIA drivers only appears when you're trying to install incompatible drivers (*duh* haha) or drivers for a different architecture maybe (think trying to install 32-bit drivers on a 64-bit Windows).

It's odd though, because those 388.73 seem to be the ones provided by Acer for that model... have you tried a newer release? This would be the latest driver package off of NVIDIA that supports the MX150: https://www.geforce.com/drivers/results/156282

Keep in mind that vendors may tweak the card though, so in this case Acer may have made a modification to it that makes it unsupported for generic drivers.

Still, what are the hardware IDs of the card you have? Double clicking the card in the Device Manager go to the Details tab and select the "Hardware Ids" property over there, post a screenshot here as well please.

    Sir,

I have posted snap of Device manager. NVIDIA graphics is not there. Only Intel is seen. This is the problem. The laptop software is not detecting the presence of NVIDIA hardware. This laptop is just 1.5 years old.

    I'm quoting myself! =D

Please, let us know what the IDs are for that yellow triangle device you have in there, the one that reads "3D Video Controller" because Windows is certainly seeing and correctly identifying an unknown device as a graphics adapter.

Hi, which model do you have exactly? Under A515 there are many devices, I think it stands for 15'' Aspire 5. Look for something that follows that, for example A515-51, A515-52, etc. It may be have more letters too, like A515-54G-XXXX.

Could you post a picture of what your Device Manager looks like?
