Nitro 515-43 ryom will not detect new 2.5 SSD

Hi all,
Recently bought the Nitro 5, and wanted to install secondary storage. I have a Samsung 860 EVO, that seemed pretty easy to install. However, it is not being detected in Windows, nor is it showing in the BIOS. I also tried this with a different SSD, with the same result. Any suggestions? Is this a bad/ loose connection somewhere, and if so is it something I can fix myself?
