They need to fix this with a bios update.
Adata M.2 disks are very popular bc of the price.0 -
Damned I wonder why everyone always saying oh acer needs to fix this oh acer needs to fix that whatever (i would want to see everyone who says this to be running a large hardware company like acer and do what they actually always asking i doubt anyone here would do it the name of the game its profit not loosing money or time because in this kind of business like many others time is money) and well its not up to the manufacturer itself to sort it its up to adata itself to contact the manufacturer and enter in agreement for it to be supported on their devices if they want to have proper support for it and yes they are very popular due to the low oem budget price but bare in mind whats cheap 99% of the times its either bad or wont last long if they were so good as they state manufacturers would be shipping their drives on stock hardware its not the price that matter here when it comes to hardware its the quality performance and durability so if most want to go cheap be my guest but there no guarantee at all that would be compatible and what happens most of the times its wasted money on a piece of hardware that doesnt even work

I bought the Adata SX8200 as well. Same issues. The Adata worked fine on my Asus, so it must be a compatibility issue. Will buy a different SSD and see if that helps.1

Adata M.2 they are not cheap but they are the best vfm right now.
I am not talking about no name products.0 -
Damned Well they arent cheap but i personally prefer to spend my money on something that im pretty sure that will work like wd blue/black or samsung

Any solution updates?
i just purchasedPredator PH315-52-78VL
And looking to populate 2nd m.2 drive and SSD drive.0 -
Those who bought Adata SSD can you feedback whether my method of installing m.s SSD worked with your laptop?I just want to know. My Adata M.2 SSD until now no problem at all.As for the HDD slot. I used Seagate Firecuda SSD 2TB. No problem when installing it, just plug and play.0
-
I have the Adata XPG SX8200 1TB and have ordered the PH 315-52-78VL.
I am waiting the laptop to arrive in 4-5 days.
I will feedback if the way from previous posts works.
The problem is only in M.2 slots, sata ssd slot works fine.0 -
I confirm that the Adata XPG SX8200 1TB works fine even after you enter bios and change things.1
-
Can anyone post the speed he gets from the m2 adata disk?
I get lower read speed than the manufacture specs.0 -

I tried both slots ACHI and optane still read speed cant get over 2200-2300.Write speed is ok at 2900.0
-
With optane way, you need to install inter rst drivers
I have 3570 max read speed using it0 -
I did install intel rst still disk read speed in the same.
Maybe the disk is faulty i tried everything no luck.0 -
Any solutions?0
-
I get 3000 read speed in safe mode so i think its not the disk but something else.0
-
Take the drive out
start windows
Uninstall IntelRSTdriver(it's garbage)
Restart to bios switch to ACHI from RST
Most cases should be fixed there
If nottype msconfig | Press <ENTER>
2) Click on the Boot tab
3) Click to select the option you want to set as default
4) Click the Set as Default Button
5) Turn on the checkbox “Make all boot settings permanent”
6) Click OK – on the popup Select Yes
Uncheck Make all boot settings permanent after the drive is setup
you can also use a recovery usb or iso of windows 10 then just troubleshoot and repair windows

And second question, so it's possible to switch between RST and AHCI without full reinstall windows?0
