    Hi,
Yes, that's correct, I had a F5-573 and I had Samsung 960 Evo NVMe SSD, so you can also install a NVMe SSD, only 2 PCIe lanes are enabled in this model, I think mainly to match other hardware in the laptop.

No,It will be usable in other laptops you may buy in future and also there won't be any price difference between them, don't worry about the B,M,B&M keys, the slot in your laptop is suitable for SATA and NVMe SSDs.

You just install like a NVMe SSD, the second gap in the SATA SSD will not make contact with the pins in the slot while NVMe drive pins will make contact with the pins in the slot, that's all.
Motherboard manufacturers can not make different slots for different SSDs for economic reasons, hence this setup.

Yes, you can install a M.2 NVMe SSD, the recommended maximum size is 256GB but another member tried a 512GB and it worked, he also had some delay in startup time but may be due to something else, please read this thread:https://community.acer.com/en/discussion/507956/what-kind-interface-ssd-m-2-supports-acer-aspire-f5-573g-56vs-nx-gd8sv-001/p1
